About the Event

Held in the renowned Art of Living Retreat Center, with a property entirely built upon the principles of Vastu, enveloped by the magnificence of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this event promises to transport us into an open-hearted experience only magnified by its surroundings.

This is an invitation to explore our inner potential, deepen meditative practices, re-connect to the heart, and re-evaluate our relationship with ourselves and the World. The immersion will feature twice-daily meditations utilizing various Tantric methodologies and bring about a quickening of the Life Force and deep release of stresses in the system. Every immersion brings out a novel aspect of the perennial teachings, expressed and refined through the cutting-edge philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism which Igor spontaneously delivers.

It is here, sitting in the presence of an adept, that the transformative energies within us rise with both intensity and safety. Join us for this 6-day program in North Carolina that will take your spiritual practice to an entirely different level!

Arrival & Departure

The event starts on Saturday, September 28th at 5 pm and ends on Friday, October 4th after lunch.

You are welcome to arrive early to ease jetlag, explore the beautiful surroundings or enjoy amenities like Ayurvedic treatments which the Art of Living Retreat Center offers. It is possible to check in three nights early (Wednesday, September 25th) and check out two nights late (Sunday, October 6th). An extended stay after the end of the Immersion for our so-called spill-over days is recommended to cushion the transition into the demands of travel and your upcoming worldly obligations.

Price & Accommodation

The program fee is 1450 USD (or 1330 EUR). The program fee covers the event, not your accommodation and meals.

Booking of accommodation and meals must be done through the venue separately (see below) and will close on Friday, September 6th. Room and board for the duration of the program start from 1025 USD (or 945 EUR) for a triple room scaling up to 1825 USD (or 1680 EUR) for a single room.

Meals are vegetarian or vegan, served three times a day in a large, beautiful dining room with a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains.

Transport to/from the Venue

The nearest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Transportation between the Charlotte Airport and the Art of Living Retreat Center can be booked via the private shuttle company the Hickory Hop Shuttle at https://www.hickoryhop.com/. Note that 3 hours should be allowed on the shuttle in order to get to the airport on time on your return.

Guidelines for Newcomers

• If you are attending an immersion with Igor for the first time, booking a proper introductory facilitator session ‘Living from the Heart‘ with one of the Flowing Wakefulness facilitators is recommended. As we work by the highest standards, we want to ensure you are prepared for the energetic processes of the immersion and acquire a basic familiarity with the teaching.
• As Tantric meditations incorporating visualizations and imagination form an essential aspect of this work, everyone who is not yet familiar with them, based on previously attended longer immersions, is duly required to take the meditation course “SEEING THROUGH THE HEART: The Vision of Poets & Sages” before attending the immersion. This is to ensure that everyone has a grasp of the meditation methodology used in the program, and that course is a great education in and of itself.
